Dave Hawkins

I began competing in Autotests 1973 first ever stage rally first stage Olivers Mount at Scarborough.
In 1980 I became T11 paraplegic, but converted existing Gp A RS2000 and was competing again 3 months after discharge from Pinders.
I was among the first to get a license under the new rules and is where I first met the guys that formed BMSAD.

I have competed in Mini’s Escorts Astra’s and have a clubman Gp A Impreza .

On club events we usually finish top 10 best so far is 2nd  (3 seconds off a win!) my ambition is to win an event.
3-4 yrs ago we won our class in the ANCC Tarmac Championship.
We are currently building a Mk 2 Escort that will be awesome 305 bhp sequential box etc etc.
We are planning to relaunch the Rally School later this year.
